Waste on the canal belt is being picked up by hand because the municipality cannot install underground deposit bins due to the old foundations in this part of town.

Pick-up days are Monday and Thursday between 6:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.

If this is too early, you can deposit your waste the night before at the designated spot. Please do so after 10:00 p.m. to avoid a fine from the municipality.

To find the designated spot, look out the living room window. It is across the bridge to your left, as shown in the highlighted area of the photo below.
